Silence.

That unbelievable silence that occupied her mind made her feel at ease. It was so quiet… So peaceful… The only sounds she could hear were birds and the wind shaking the trees’ leafs. This was why she liked isolated places, where there was no one to disturb her.

Yet she didn’t like to be alone.

Chelly had growed acustomed to be like this, ever since she lost Noah, but she didn’t like this feeling. It pained her so much to have no one by her side, to be by herself at all times.
